Before your question can be answered, what do you plan on doing with it? Paper Target Shooting once a month, Competition, Hunting, Job Related Tactical, Trunk Gun, Home Defense? Something else?

Because this is the fact many people's who bought AR 15 is happy with their rifles. Beginners can also control AR 15 because it is very easy to use due to its flexibility, pretty expensive, Completely modular, Prolific etc.

I agree with you that the rifle is very comfortable and I really like it. She is the best. Recently, I bought optics for it https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd-optics I think now I'll be good hunted. I want to find my own deer this year

I've been using an AR10 308 for hunting hogs, but recently read some stuff about using the AR15 instead. From what I've learned, as was mentioned, shot placement is pretty key and the type of round. There are some good hog hunting rounds out there with greater expansion then just a straight FMJ. Looking to try some out soon.

Neither does even reading this thread and posting that comment.

For that matter, neither does using the internet or perusing the forum as much as a lot of us do. Myself included. But it's a good time.

Don't be a hater. Tell us what you like instead.

I bought my first AR over 20 years ago as a photo prop. Never did have much use for a 5.56/.223 and still don't other than a coyote now and then. (I wish you Texas boys would come to NC and take your coyotes back!)
But once they starting adding additional cartridges I started getting serious about them. I now have eight that I use a good bit. The .25/.223, 6.5 G, 6.8 SPC, 7.62x40 and 300 HAM'R have added new life to the AR-15. They have also converted the AR-15 to a true hunting rifle.

Great article including what you need to look for in a poor, good or better quality weapon.

Couldn’t find it. It just went to the home page of the forum.

Yep, This sticky is useless now that you can't find the article. I read it once years ago, but wanted to re-read it and can't find it now.
