We eat in the field what ever the wife puts in my hunting bag Breakfast and lunch. Lots of coffee
And a bottle of sweet Lucy and a nap at the house
If God wanted labs to point he would have gave them a stick

Fried eggs looking at you, set on top of a pile of salted and buttered rice with deer sausage on the side.

Where do I get one of those double sided biscuit pans like the Duck Commander uses to cook biscuits in the blind over a propane stove?
He then puts the jelly that they made from grapes they previously picked out there and completes the circle. So funny when he said that on one of the videos. That guy has it down. They said Owen (the guy who originally brought that biscuit maker around) wouldn't ever say where he got it. I've looked for a company or individual selling em but no luck yet. If you ever run across em, please let me know Amazon.com and thefind.com have a bunch of different folding omelette pans that would probably do the trick. If I could find another one of these for sale, it's what I would want. I'll build one if I have to. http://www.etsy.com/listing/66769517/vintage-camping-1913-wear-ever-aluminumIf you or someone finds the right one for the job, please post. My blind bag is juuuuust big enough to hold shells, small propane stove, and biscuit pan.

There is something to be said about Breakfast in the blind, But the best part for me is on a cold cold day after the hunt and we get back to my house and the wife has some warm chicken tortilla soup waiting on us.Then its off to the couch for a warm nap by the fire place.

Amen to that. I don't know who beav is huntin' with, but I've never been in a blind where anyone said they had to leave because they were hungry. Immediate cause for hunting list removal...

Green Frog Restaurant in Jacksboro. They've got a $2.99 breakfast plate with eggs, toast, and hash browns. Throw in a sausage patty and the only thing that will make it a better day is if you shot a limit of birds or can rag your buddy for missing.
On one trip last year we stopped at Donut/Chinese Food restaurant (I know, it's a little questionable with just that being said ...) after a hunt near Olney and the guy working the counter looked us up and down asking what we had been up to all decked out in camo and muddy. It seemed obvious to me, but we said, "Duck hunting." His eyes lit up. "You have more ducks?" Basically, he wanted to barter a couple of ducks for a dozen donuts. Didn't take him up on it cause he wanted 'em whole, but this year I know what we're doing with all our spoonies!

Another amen - to the devil with removing them from hunting list - hog tie 'em and leave for the varmints and buzzards.
