We just lost our Female AKC lab to cancer 2 weeks ago.. She was only 4 1/2 yoa. Her brother is going crazy with out a companion as they had been together since day 1. Would prefer a older 2-5 year old Lab, Chocolate would be great. If you know anyone out there looking to get rid of one let me know.. Were located in Haslet, TX

Check DFW lab rescue they usually are full up with dogs....esp if you are not looking for a hunting companion...

I have been checking everywhere.. Spent the last 2 weeks talking to Rescue groups and haven't been too happy speaking to alot of the Foster Parents. The search continues.

We are in the same boat. Lost our two seniors in the past 6 months. The rescues take forever. Check Operation Kindness in Carrolton, they usually have a huge assortment. I noticed Craigslist is full of people giving away purebred labs.
