True story. Granddaughter, her mother, and the grandmother, were chatting and the topic of 'female' problems came up. The granddaughter, having recently just had her first sign of womanhood, was asked if she had started the second one yet. Granddaughter replied "no". Her mother and the grandmother, seizing the opportunity to pass knowledge on to the child, offered advice on how to be prepared, notice signs, and count the days on the calendar. The granddaughter replied there was no need for any of that -- "because there is an app for it!"

I heard a woman say one time that paying her monthly bill was better than getting a 10 month break. (she was single).
