What a hunt here are the pic's from the thread we were running saturday morning. We were halfway back to the truck when these bird's had us runnin' back to the blind the around 11:45 boom he rang the wood's and got his first turkey ever on his first sit still hunt ever. Even after the bird was cleaned and carcass was thrown away he wanted to take it and show everyone.
Here is the first hen and longbeard we called in around 9:45

Ethan watching the hen,I told him to stand like a statue.

all smiles after seeing his first turkey up that close and not at a distance like when we are scouting.

Here's the longbeard she brought with her. So sad we couldn't get him any closer than 60 yard's and the hen that brought him took him away.

His gun barrell and the longbeard 70 yard's past it.

at sixty yard's struttin' and as close as he would come before he followed his hen out of the field.

This is the second hen we called in around 11:45

Here's the fella's she brought with her. They strutted alot but they were running in and it happened so fast I dropped the camera and got the boy ready to shoot, so sorry no strutting pic's of them.

All but the singin' baby. 28 yard shot and smashed him right in the face. Only thing that went wrong is the turkey flipped straight up in the air and landed on his tail feather's so the tail and beard mount will need a little fixin'.jk jk I was so pumped up.

Finally, Back at the house.

Thank's guy's. Since this past weekend we have been in there scouting and I have got the biggest turkey I have ever gotten on video strutting next to my blind every single evening. Haven't seen him in there in the mornin's but he is there every evenin'. I am goin' to throw out 12.5" now maybe a little steep maybe closer to 11.5" but I am gonna say he is 12.5" and a fully mature 4 year old bird. I hope my wife kill's him this saturday.
