Looking for a decent clear scope to go on my 22-250 to varmint hunt with and have about narrowed my choice to a millett tactical 4-16x50. I wanted something with illuminated reticle. Next choice for more money was a nikon monarch. Anybody have personal experience with millett???

I had one for about 6 months and put about 400 rounds down range with the rifle and optic together. For the money it was pretty clear and bright. Id compare it to say a Vortex Crossfire series. It was a little heavy and long but thats the only complaint I can think of. Ive had several other Millet scopes and unless your shooting in real low light or a big optic Nazi you'll probably enjoy it ! up

I shoot nikon buckmasters on rest of my rifles. Just afraid the clarity will not compare. Wish they had something with ir.

My dad has 3 millett scopes. They are great and very clear. He has 2 of the 4-16x56 and 4-16X50. none have the illuminated reticle but they are good scopes from my experiences with them. I just took the 4-16x50 off my AR bc I got a vortex.
