Hey everyone-

I am in Fort Worth visiting from California, and want to get a hunt in tomorrow. I have all the gear to hunt (decoys, calls, waders, gun, etc), but don't have the knowledge of the area. I scouted last week, but the weather was 65 degrees, bluebird skies, and not great for scouting.

The kick is I don't have access to a vehicle until 8am (my fiance works nights), and I have to be back at the apt by 5:30, since she needs the car to get to work. Anyone in the area want to go on a mid morning/day hunt, or morning hunt if you are able to pick me up? I will chip in for gas and breakfast and whatever else.

I am very courteous, dont need to take the first shot, good caller, and knowledgeable about birds.

So, send me a PM if interested.

Yea, I was waiting for all the California Jokes. Thanks.

I grew up in the East san francisco bay area (San Joaquin Valley) hunting the delta, but I go to school in Humboldt County ( top of the state on the coast).

My fiance got a job at Cooks Childrens as a nurse, so I am here visiting. I am moving to FOrt worth in June when I am dont with school.

No, I am not a rat, just wanting to hunt. Unfortunately today was the only day I had available, so I gave it a shot. No worries though, I will be hunting Friday in California.

If you were up around Texoma, I'd take you out for some birds.

I grew up in Livermore and called the delta my second home for fishing and hunting. If it wasn't for all the people and politics, California would be one of the best state to live in. Have everything within a couple hours(ducks, mule deer, ocean, world class bass fishing) DAMN the liberals for ruining it.

JUDD,
I think you'd fit in perfect in SF. Heard there are a bunch of parades that would fit your lifestyle. Lol

LMAO. Thats not nice...

Alright, I grew up in Antioch. And yes, if it werent for the politics and the AMOUNT of people, I may consider moving back there. But, life is taking me here. I appreciate the offer if I were in your area though.

I grew up in lafayette, CA. Just go run up to sutter or sweat it out for dry creek refuge, you'll do just fine. People ask me all the time, are there ducks in California? At sutter I've seen the sky literally blacked out with ducks and geese. Or if you want to stay up north, go to tule lake, it well worth the trip especially if you got a mud motor. Pm me if you want anymore info.

I remember sweat lines at San Luis, Los Banos, Sacramento, and Grey Lodge. I was still in my early teens with my dad and uncle. I have yet to see the number of birds here in Oklahoma as I did out in the San Juaquin and Sacramento valley. Good times!

Ya I don't miss those sweat lines. Waiting the day before just to hunt sucks, you guys don't know how good you have it here.
