I was looking at Benbrook lake's sight today and it says, All applications are due by 12:00 pm on August 17, 2011 to be able to hunt the 2011/2012 hunting season The reason im confused is because would that mean that the aplications to hunt next coming up season are all ready taken and it is to late to submit them, or are they talking about the deer season that is just about over? . http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/benbrook/Recreation/Hunting.asp

The 2011-2012 season ends today for most on Jan 1st. Your license and the general regs for the state are good from mid Sept 1st. 2011 to August 31st 2012, if I remember right on the dates.
