So still the fog doesn't even roll. It just sits there. Seen a few birds, but they are not interested in decoys that don't move. Had 6 mallards make 8 passes. Never close enough.

Made the best of it. Called one in swimming. She landed in open water about 100 yds out, I called and she came swimming in. The other decided to come in even though I was standing next to the blind packing it up.


This pic was taken after all the other gear was packed up. When I turned around, 4 teal took off from the water. Wish I could have stayed longer, but I have to work tonight.

Had several groups circle, but never come close. One group of mallards made 7 passes. I need to get some movement...

A jerk cord or wonder duck can fix your motion problems. We hunted in the soup this am and didn't see near the birds we had seen the day before on our scout. The birds that managed their way to our dekes worked well over 3 wonder ducks and 6 regular dekes. We scratched out 3 limits on my longest hunt of the year, 930.
