He has shot a couple of does but for the last 6 years all the bucks he has seen have all been under AR rules. He has been getting a little frustrated but I kept telling him to be patient and a shooter would come his way. The only reason he wanted to go out yesterday was because he wanted to shoot the Mosin-Nagant I bought him for Christmas. Cool gun and a ton of fun to shoot. Aftert having some fun with that gun we went to the stand with his .243 Right at sun down this buck stepped out from behind a cedar bush and had us both shaking like crazy. It is a 8 point with a broken brow tine that would have given him 9 points. Great mass with a 17 1/2" spread. A pretty darn nice, mature, buck for his first buck harvest. I think he is renergized by this buck to keep hunting with dear old dad.
