who here keeps their antlers from every buck they shoot? I know some folks who have chingos of antlers from way back when they started hunting and they are in their 60's.
I had several sets from when i was younger, but i ended up getting tired of them laying on the porch and gave them to a labrador who loved chewing antlers. hardley take any home with me anymore
All I have now is two antler mounts in my office, and the mounts in my home.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I wish I'd held on to more, not that I've killed a massive amount of bucks. I probably have 15 sets, but there are a couple of guys I wish I'd kept them from.

I keep the interesting ones with a story to tell, some I give away, or they stay at the ranch on the cabin

I keep all of mine and all of the sheds that I find. I have probably found close to 200 sheds over the years and love hunting them nearly as much as hunting live deer.

I've kept them all---even the spikes. Might have been different if I wasn't raised in a part of East Texas with very few deer. I killed my first deer--a buck--when I was 15 and now I'm 51. I'm blessed to be able to hunt a ranch in Coleman county now. WAY yonder more deer there. I kill cull bucks larger than anything here in my part of East Texas.
It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Are sheds good for rattling?
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
