The dove are all over the deer feeders at the lease. How far away do you have to be from the feeders to be legal?



I'd rather be a fence post in Texas than the king of Tennessee!

If the feeder is the reason why you are kill dove, it is baiting, distance is not a factor.

We have 4 feeders on 300 acres. Dove are all over, but you would never be more that a few hundred yards from a feeder at any given time. Good to know. Thanks guys

X2 That is what is usually told. If the birds your hunting are flying to the feeders, it is not considered to be legal. I was at my lease last couple of days and we pretty much had no dove in young county. No birds on the fields. It was disapointing as we had several the last time I was there.

Same here. This rain has messed it up for us. Had tons before it.
