My 12 year old son with his Christmas present. I was going to be away for Christmas so we did Christman early. He is hitting out to 50 yards with it. Going to hunt with it when I get home.

Thanks, it is more accurate that I was expecting. 50 yards and his bolts are almost touching.

Congrats. x2 use the rail lube and wax string occasionally. Also, get some lumenarrows for him to hunt with. They look really can help to see where the arrow hits.

Thanks guys. Yes lumonex (spelling) are on the list. It is a Barnett Jackel, not sure when he will be able to pull it back by himself.

I showed him how to lube the strings, and told him he needs to do it every time he shoots it.

having formerly owned that exact same x-bow be sure to Lock-Tite or super glue the rail that holds the scope. it got goofy on me 2x.
