So living in the middle of the city we have a small herd of does (7 to be exact) that have been coming up to my back yard to eat the grass.
(there is nothing else around for them to eat)
so we started putting out deer corn. every night and every night they have come, except last night they brought a friend with them.

There are some big deer out around Lake Benbrook. I know of one monster killed out there earlier this season.

I live near TCU and have seen deer a couple of times, but have a group of turkey's that move through the neighborhood every day. As the Edwards Ranch area gets developed, I would imagine you'll start seeing even more wildlife pushed into the neighborhoods.

Nice buck. I need to try and get some pics of the deer down on a little creek I fish in Austin. Spend lots of time in the stand at the deer lease and kill some pretty good deer, but none come close to the one's I see down there. It's water shed area and probably over 80 acres.

I saw a nice buck walking right in between two different apartment complexes in Benbrook about 2 weeks ago. And it was about noon when I saw him. Crazy...

I was seeing that exact buck and some does over by the railroad tracks a couple of weeks ago. Every day on the way home they would be out there.

There used to be a MONSTER 12 point near the river in Benbrook. I'm sure his genes have been passed down.

It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

They're everywhere,Whitetails have reached a saturation level throughout the state...I guess as hunters we're just not doing a good enough job.
