Good looking 'cull'.

Yes. He is mature and not that impressive antler wise compared to what we normally see out of our mature bucks.

A great deer on a lot of places though. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Cull and trophy are both worthless terms except to the person trying to label a deer this or that. It depends on location, experience of hunter, how long the ranch has been managed, blah, blah, blah. You have to decide. I wish I had seen him this weekend and I would have shot him, but I would not tell you whether he was a cull or a trophy.

Cull!!! Little crab points on the front and weak brows.Smoke check him.

If it's not overkill then it's underachievement.

Depends. In my opinion if you have bigger more symetrical deer that are showing maturity and good racks then I would say yes he's a cull. He's mature and has a rack that is different to what is considered normal. However if you have only been seeing him as the only mature deer with a rack and body of significant size you would do best to leave him alone.

Call him what you want, but he is a shooter.
