just moved down to hill country from busy ol' dallas. since i've been here ive done a little hunting on the weekends. first weeked i shot a ringtailed cat and had a auodad run right past my blind. shot a whitetail doe, and well got to shoot this guy this morning, to bad it wasn't with my rifle...





and the wife is trying to talk me in to buying this lil place that we are renting.

i'll keep an ear open... i've noticed i'm not seeing as many axis as in the past years. lots of trapping has been going on.
haven't ever seen axis on the place i hunt, but just miles down the road i have seen quite a few. only hogs , whitetail and auodad have been seen on the property i hunt frown

Very cool! I drove from SA to Kerrville yesterday and saw close to 100 Axis between Boerne and Kerrville. I have never seen that many before..they were everywhere on the sides of the roads eating.

ya i've seen a herd of like 40-50 axis before...

came home around noon today and there were about 15 axis on other side of street from my house.... smile
