Haven't hunted in two weeks. Sitting in the blind now waiting for the turdy pointer...lol
Scared one off walking to the blind and I've seen 3 turkys so far...feeders just went off!!!

I hunted the last five days in northern Karnes county about 7 miles southeast of Nixon, saw a couple bucks chasing doe, but doesnt seem to be a full rut yet, last nites rain sure messed up the roads, all those oil field trucks are tearing em up. saw a huge hog last nite in the rain, lots of hogs, some fair bucks. when you said you scared one off going to the blind, they were moving middle of the day a lot due to the moon.

Well I saw about 12 doe and 4 small bucks...then the big 8 came out...I aimed, fired and missed. He was about 150 yards away...I was dead on too...I guess my guns off...my gun fell a few weeks ago when it was in my house...should of checked it...

I searched for an hour...no blood...nothing...I'll check tomorrow for buzzards...
