Pigletkilla came into town to hunt this weekend;

Scouted several lakes and picked lake barney.

We were the first boat on the lake @ 130 am.

Went to spot X. Upon arrival we observed about 75 decoys thrown out in front of the spot we were wanting to hunt like a bag of skittles
on a kitchen floor.
No hunters in sight for hours.

What would have you done?

We thought we hit decoy jackpot!

Let's see . . . in the seven page post on this subject last week, i think the conclusion was:

1. Stealing or damaging someone elses property is wrong.
2. Abandoning property on State or Army Corps land is illegal.
3. Thinking you are "saving" a spot on public land by leaving your stuff out overnight is total BS.

In conclusion - the concensus was pick up (drag) their gear 100yds up in the woods and then set up your own spread. When they show up, politely tell them that you prevented their stuff from getting stolen and saved them a ticket from the GW.

Give them this number, 1-800-792-4263, so they can tell the Game Warden their deeks are missing.

If they were hunting the spot u wanted move there deeks and tell them u saved them a ticket and u saved them some money...it's not stealing...if you leave a bottle or something in the lake and i come by in my boat and pick it up you wouldnt consider that stealing...there is no diff in my mind....if ur not hunting that spot you take the deeks, i cant stand it when people try to pull that

They're not looking for one thing right....they're looking for one thing wrong.
