Hit the river this morning and at first light kind of slow. As the sun came up it was pretty constant action on the ducks. Tried to be picky and ended up with these.


The geese are everywhere here but mostly high flyers and corn eaters. Got lucky and got a passer by. hopefully tomorrow is just as good. We are in the middle of a hard freeze and even the river is freezing up.




This hen would not stay out of the decoys. She would fly off then come right back.

Looks a little further north than Texas!
