 What do you consider a descent sized doe?

I am fairly new to deer hunting and was wondering what do yall consider, weight wise, to be a descent sized doe?

depends on the area of the country or state your in. X2 Field dressed, I consider a 80+ lb one as a good one. Descent size would be around 70

On my place here in east Texas, a "shooter" doe will weigh about 100 lbs on the hoof, but I have killed a few around 120#.
On my place in OK, I try to shoot does that weigh around 140-150 pounds.

First I make sure they don't have a fawn dragging around then I try to simply get the largest one. Averages 100 pounds.

My doe I shot this last week in Brown county went 117lbs live weight.

The doe I shot last weekend weighed 92lb on the hoof. Now I know what a 100ish looks like and I will squeeze the trigger.

I haven't ever got one to stand on a scale long enough....but here's what I think one looks like....  One whole deboned hindquarter, hindquarter steaks, nice back straps, jerky meat & about 6 lbs of ground - Yum Yum

Depends alot on location and herd pop. Does are around here are usualy around 110-125 live weight river land seems to make a big difference in east texas..usualy has larger deer..these are some off the trinity and navasota river bottoms..but as far as harvesting them..a doe is a doe anything thats not a fawn is a shooter

I try not to field dress any deer. I skin and process without doing it unless I plan to hang one. We like to weigh all our deer and my brother insists on dressed weight. When he does I record live and dressed. Heaviest gut pile I have weighed to date was 20 lbs out of a mature buck. My son shot a young spike a couple of weeks ago that was 68 live and 56 dressed. Our decent does (65 - 70 lbers) usually have about 14 lbs of guts.

The biggest doe of the group is usually the decent one.
Just kidding.
I look for the ones without fawns, or the one that keeps busting me out in the stand. Sorry, but those matriarch does that figure me out have got to go no matter what.

In a normal year our does out West run about 100 pounds on the hoof. This year, maybe 75.
