Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but a ton of great stuff on here. My father and I had a lease set up for us in Hondo back in April. He was recently diagnosed with skin cancer in July, to which he gave up the lease in preparation for all of that. I've been looking everywhere including the worldwide adventures site, CL, leasehunter, etc. and haven't been able to peg anything down. I know I'm way late to the punch here, as I hadn't been looking due to everything that's been going on with the family and everything, but I would really love to find a lease for my father, brother, and I to hunt this season.

Mainly, we like a lease vs. weekend hunt because we all like to go out there together and fix things up, set blinds, feeders, etc. We are all catholic and all Aggies. Very management minded hunters, and really just like being outdoors vs. shooting at everything that walks. My father is doing good at the moment, and I would love to find a lease for us to be able to go out to this year, although I know it's a longshot. Also, I am absolutely not looking for a handout. Just wanted to give the whole story so others don't reply with "Why didn't you start looking earlier?"

I'm looking for 2-3 hunters, somewhere within 4.5 hours of Houston, at around $2500 or less per gun. If anyone knows of anything, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks everyone.

Try Critter67. He is advertising $1500/3 day hunt total for 3 hunters. That's $500 per hunter and he still has open dates. Check his posts. Pics are in the post. Good luck.

Bad time of year to be looking for this season.

Good luck, with your budget you should be able to find something for next season and the 3 of you can knock some pigs out.
