I have 5 of them, but I haven't tried them on just the internal batteries. I bought the Stealth brand cable and ammo cans for the batteries, covered the cable with braid and I can get nearly 2 weeks on hybrid mode snapping a picture every 5 seconds during the day. Update the software and buy 32 gb cards and you can run the battery dead and still have a little room left on the card.

I bought one and put it out this past September. It worked fine, but when I checked the pictures last week, the night pictures showed a black screen. I guess the IR is malfunctioning. I bought it because I had an I40 that worked great for 3 years.

I have the M-80 and love it. I loaded it with 8 Lithium AA's in July. On the default settings, they lasted until November. Took 10,000+ Pics. Most at night of raccoons. Just reloaded with alkaline Raovacs, to see it the Lithium batteries hold up better.

I don't know why batteries always come up when talking about game cams...buy the solar charger/ battery and never mess with it again.
I've seen them for $55.

No update the software to fix a timing issue and buy the 32 gb cards, set it on the hybrid(plotwatcher during the day on 5sec intervals) mode and it will last nearly 2 weeks on a 12v feeder battery, the card will be nearly full and the battery nearly dead.
