i am new to...well cant really say bow hunting but i do own a bow. i bought a mathews SQ2 a few months ago and i have spent the last few months trying to get it ready to shoot. i took it into academy to get a peep sight retied on the string and after he had retied the sight he said that i should look into getting a new string. the string he said they carried for my bow was around $90 i am trying to do some research online to see if i can find a bargin. this is where i need some help i found a Zebra Hybrid bowstring that i like but there is different sizes can someone please clear this up for me so that i will know what size that i need. And also i was told that the cable that is on the bow is not the right one bc it is eating away at the cable slide. i really dont have a clue how to even tell what the right cable might be.if someone would please take the time to answer my questions i would greatly apprecieate it thanks.

First question. Did you buy your bow brand new? And can I make a suggestion? Don't take your bow to academy anymore. Lol take it to a local bow shop or ask people on here about your bow. But whatever you do don't take it to academy most they time they don't know what they're talking about even if the say the do. And if the bow is brand new then it should. Have the right cable.
