Ok here's the situation:
My backyard is shaped like a T....the top side 22yds fence to fence
And the bottom side is 11yds
I made a shooting lane in the back and I shoot from al the way back and the target is 18yds
My question is if I'm shootin good from 18 will it effect how I shoot at 20
Thanks
BTW when aiming with my 20 yd pin it hits a little high

Actually you don’t have to set the first pin at 20 yards; you can set it at 15 if you want or 18 it’s completely left up to you. I’m assuming your sight has only one pin? But I do suggest you go somewhere and shoot beyond that to see who the bow is going to react beyond whatever you set your pin at. A lot depends on the speed of your bow, two yards usually don't make a difference, unless it's real close, that is where you will see a major difference.

At bass pro it shoots like 2-5 inches high at 20 so i am not worried...my sight has 5 pins...my first pin 10 second 15 then 20 25 30....you get the idea...

If you have a faster bow, you need to run 10 yard increments or so. Sounds like yours are stacked way too tight.

mine is 20, 30, 40, I like 10 yard increments, if I was comfortable shooting farther I would use more pins. I do have a way when shooting targets to shoot out to 60 yards priddy dang accurately using my 3 pins.

gonna hide out in the bottoms, where i hunted deer and turkey, i know that swamp like the back of my hand-Chris Knight

20, 30, 40 if you have a fast bow. Most people do not shoot enough to be comfortable or proficient past 40 yards. If it's slower or you don't shoot a lot, I would suggest 15, 25, 35 because 35 is probably your legitamit shooting limit anyway.

If you mean your 20 yard pin hits high at 20 yards I strongly suggest you adjust it till it hits dead on or even a hair low. Whitetail duck at the sound of a bow so you will almost always hit higher than aiming already. Not to mention that I have never seen a deer shot too low with a bow that didn't die but I would guess 95% of deer that are shot and live with a bow are hit too high. There is a cavity just above the lungs and just below the spine that has nothing in it that you can hit and cut nothing but meat. The deer will live and heal very quickly if hit here.

Switch to traditional and you can forget all that yardage stuff along with the training wheels
