Clean miss and you want to burn a tag? That makes no sense to me.

How do you burn a tag if you don't have a deer?

How do you burn a tag if you don't have a deer? With a match? There is no way I would burn a tag on a missed deer. Keep on hunting and maybe you will get another chance

Depends on which site you're on.. If it's with a bow apparently the approach is to burn a tag if one comes into bow range and you come to full draw and have to let down.

If that's the case, you may run out of tags this year and have no deer to show for it.

Experience is what you get, when you did not get what you wanted.......

A clean miss with a bow is different than a clean miss with a rifle. You should burn a tag either way. But if its a miss with a rifle, you burn one of your turkey tags and if its a miss with a bow, you have to go buy a duck stamp and burn it....

That's about the most craziest question I've heard. I mean break your arrow or throw your bullet in the pond, but burn a tag??
