We had four clients out this weekend and it was a complete success with everyone getting the class of deer they were after! Bucks are rutting HARD! Was definitely an awesome weekend to be in the field with lots of excitement going on. We greeted them on Thursday afternoon and hit the field by 3:30. First buck was downed around 4:30 that afternoon, solid 123" management buck. Others reported seeing 20+ deer that evening. The evening was topped off with a ribeye and baked potato dinner! Next morning was windy and cool with bucks still moving. Several "muy grande's" were seen this morning but nothing in the class the hunters were after so we all headed in to a full breakfast layout of bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage and orange juice. We then went out for a ride in the high rack. Ran across several bucks chasing does but nothing we were after. We then head back for the hunters to take a quick nap and for us to discuss a game plan for Friday evening. Well all I can say is our gameplan worked out perfectly as the rest of the hunters got their buck that evening. It was one of the hunters' first buck ever! He was still shaking with excitement as we arrived back at the lodge. Plenty of pics were taken then on to a great dinner of brisket, beans, sausage and fried potatos with sweet tea! Overall it was a great weekend with some fantastic memories made!

Thanks fellas!
Ag, yes that is a very unique deer! He was 6 years old and hadnt put on anything extra since he was four so he went on the hit list. We saw several 170-220 deer chasing does, hopefully they all caught one! lol

Lol sounds like one of my guys. We took pics of a high 150's low 160's deer that was four years old. He walked right by our blind, not 15 yards away. Think he was about to have a hear attack looking at that deer lol.
