Anyone have any experiences with those Copperhead motors?..that 18hp looks like a good one. Any opinions on MudBuddy motors is also welcome..

All the forums I've read the guys really like that Copperhead.

Don't know anything about the copperhead but I do have a MB lt, and it has never given me a single problem.

I've got a little 14 foot Delhi jon boat with the 13 inch transom and I am leaning toward the 10 horsepower model to clamp on the back of it. I'm trying to build a rig that I can drag off the trailer; if needed, to get to those really out of the way places. Eventually I will have to switch over to a mud boat because I know the jon boat is only going to take so much abuse. I got it almost for free so I figure I'll just use it up and sell it for scrap metal when it gives up.........
