So here is how my 4 day trip went Thursday evening: Sat in stand and after about 20 min had a huge trophy Chocolate Fallow come up and sat in front eating/grazing for about an hour at 13 yards, then several yearling whitetail and nubbing bucks, a young 8 point and 9 point maximum 3 years old so I passed on them and a couple of young does Friday: first set, had same choc fallow come in, multiple does, then I don't know if it was the rain or weather change but the whitetail acted as if they were in rut, huge 10 came in caught wind of a doe and started chasiing her like there was no tomorrow, along with all the buck in my area that I was hunting, then towards the end of the set here come big daddy!! a MONSTER typical 14pt(wasn't allowed to take the deer(!@$#@$) probably in the 180-190 range in front of me at 36 yards. sencond set: changed locations sat and sat and had only one doe and yearling buck come in at 15 yards, two nice shooter bucks came in to the protein feeder(150 yrds away) and stayed there 9 point and 10 pt 140 class deer but never came into range before it got too dark to shoot Saturday: both sets pretty dead just mostly yearlings coming in and a couple of does, but the rams/sheep kept running them off pretty boring day not hardly any movement and all the whitetail that were acting in rut had stopped as well so I do not know if it was a spoof or just that one hot doe or what Sunday: Morning, sat there and had just got in blind when a big mature doe came out got her fill and left then dead for about 30 min. THEN had a nice young 10 pt come in probably about a 130 class, followed directly by a very mature 10 pt 150-160 class WT choclate rack and about a 22-24" spread walk by my stand at about 7 yards I grab my bow, hook my release to loop getting about ready to pull back at this time buck is at 14 yrds then they start staring to left and POOOOFFFFF they are gone I look to left here come the F-ing rams and as soon as the deer leave the Rams turn and walk back out then do the same thing to 3 does that come in about an hour later Evening: not a darn thing cam in Conclusion: SKUNKED, and I hate sheep, ranch was beautiful and can't wait to go back. Also to whomever said that high fence was like shooting fish in a barrel: YOU WERE WRONG!! Had a great and challenging hunt and going back to hopefully get my kill So for now the BLACK CLOUD remains!!

So did you pay full price for a camping trip? Full price when you go back ? Yeah trip was prepaid, but they are cutting a deal when come back!! Just gotta pay the room and board fees!! They said they would scout it out a lot better, I think more people pay to hun there for exotics and hogs than WT, plus said that they would figure sometyhing out with the sheep. Place is crawling with anuimals and is a great place to hunt, especially ecotics, and when on the mule saw a done a huge WT bedding down or standing off in the trees, Mostly 120-140 class

Well I was disappointed at first about not harvesting, but overall I had a blast and saw a ton of game just not what (I) was looking for. The two guys I went with got their shots on some animals!! I would recommend Circle T to anyone!! The owner and the ranch manager are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet and make you feel at home. Ranch manager/PH when we got in on thursday night grabbed our food we brought and cooked it for us so we could watch the World Series(mistake to watch)!! But they are very friendly and you will forget that you are even paying for the hunt due to the hospitality and making you feel at home. It was just like you were at your buddies place hunting!! Definately a great experience!! We even talked about making it a yearly trip

Chris a bad day of hunting is still a pretty good day. You'll get em next time. Sound like you had fun though.
Some of my best hunting trips resulted in not even seeing anything, it's about the whole hunt and getting out in the woods.
