I haven't been hunting since Oct. work scheduele has killed me this year. What is everyone seeing in San Saba? Rut kicked in? I won't be able to make it down till Thanksgiving!!
Live to hunt, forced to work!

Heven't been out to San Saba since opening weekend but the rut had definitely not started then. Very little chasing of does going on that weekend and bucks were eating corn side by side with no sparring going on that I saw. Then again, we've had some cooler weather, so who knows what's happened since then! I'm going back out Thanksgiving weekend myself.

Same here.
Down opening weekend and it could have been any weekend in Sept.
I too will be down Thanksgiving week.
