My daughter Audrey had a management hunt at the Lazy W Whitetail ranch this past weekend and it was amazing, beyond expectation. My job was solely an observer and photographer for this expedition. Doug, the owner, was very friendly and offered such great hospitality that made us feel like part of the family.

Better bring an appetite as well in addition to hunting gear because the cooking was tasty and plentiful. Doug was not joking when he told us you dont need to bring any food or snacks. We ended up buying a few snacks anyway to take with us but brought them back home unopened. Their hunters cabin is also very comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and well stocked.

He really worked hard and helped coach Audrey to get just the right buck. We also had a lot of fun and some good laughs together. The Lazy W Whitetail would be a great place for anyone, but was an excellent opportunity for Audrey to get a really nice bruiser buck for her room (and put some deer meat in the freezer). Plus we saw all kinds of incredible deer and rut related activity that never resulted in a dull moment. The hunting setup, blinds etc. were perfect and well situated for the land.

We would certainly recommend the Lazy W Whitetail and look forward to returning some day. It was a father/daughter weekend we will always remember. Thanks Doug for making such great memories.

Congrats to your daughter. Very nice buck.

Sheldon thanks for the kind words. We really enjoyed having you and Audrey out to hunt with us this weekend. She's a great kid and is very enjoyable to be around. I'm glad that she had the opportunity to get ol Lucky. He should look good on her wall. Thanks again.
