with my Nikon D3100.

This one focused on the flowers, I couldn't figure out how to adjust the depth of field. Oh well.

Nice photos! Also those 2 little bucks are the reason AR's work.

Nice. I just bought a Nikon 3100. What lens did you use for these pics? On the one pic with the deer and flowers put the lens on manual focus and you can focus on what you want. Auto focus is good but sometimes will focus on the wrong object.

I actually like the one with the flowers. That buck with the black face looks pretty cool. Nice pics!

I do not think so, it didn't seem to bother them. However I was in a box blind and had a 300mm lens so they weren't as close as they might appear.

Ron I was using a Nikkor 18-300mm VRII lens. It was in auto mode and I will defintiely try manual focus this weekend and I also need to find the silent mode you are referring to.

Beautiful pictures . . . I've got a Rebel with a stock lens . . . One of these days I'll put it to use.

Thanks Ron. I have the owners manual but it is over my head so I didn't bother reading it. Thanks again.
