Just curious as to what yall might think on Score wise for these 2 deer. My brother has never deer hunted before so with him finally getting home i decided to see if he would accompany me to the lease. My brother has been away from home for almost 2 yrs being in the navy. So he was pretty amped when i asked him if he wanted to hunt opening weekend. Opening day I managed a nice 8 with a crab claw on his left side while my brother managed to get skunked. I Saw a good bit of deer so the next morning decided that my brother and I were going to get in the same stand i shot mine out of and see if we could manage at least a doe. Well after falling asleep for bout 5 minutes after shooting light I feel my brother tapping on my shoulder whispering loudly that there was a doe in the clear cut. I told him it was ok to shoot the doe if he wanted and it didnt take long for him to put the crosshairs and let the 30.06 bark. After he shot i seen her jump straight up and fall behingd some bushes and then another doe and a tall 8 ran into the clear cut and ran back into the woods. We were high fiving and stuff when we noticed the 8 walked back out into the clear cut and just stared at the doe that my brother just shot .... well wrong move
sorry for being long winded

Great Deer bud! Even better that you and your brother were able to share your first deer together. Congratulations man and hopefully this is the first of many years to come for ya'll.
