We hunt about 300+ acres right next to the red river. We have been feeding, food plotting, using cameras, have plenty of water and cover. When we first got the place there was signs of deer passing through and eating at the feeders.
We had one small spell of hogs last year but we have not seen them since. No other real predators to speak of.

Ideal place for wildlife really.

Anyone else have the same luck? And if so why is there such a lack of deer in this area (if there is an answer)?

I am not sure what you are asking. But I hunt in Cooke county on the river and things are looking pretty good.

Hope it gets better for you

Interesting.
I was just asking if anyone was having the same problem or not having a problem at all. The place is ideal for deer. Just curious where all of our deer went.

I forgot to mention there are cows that graze the place, maybe that could be part of the issue.
