I would like to book a hunt and shoot one also. I would rather not hunt out of a layout blind though because I have a bad back.

Haven't hunted it in years and do not know if it is still an option but have killed quite a few woodies at Gus Engling (SP?) in the past.

After this rain we got last night, you should be able to hunt near any creek around here or towards the east and shoot one looking for all those acorns getting drained into the lakes and ponds. They should be very easy to locate now, we shot a couple last week but did not see as many as usual.

East tx is full of them! Find some dense wooded areas that are flooded.....if that's possible in tx right now.

Buddies back home slaughtered em on Caddo. You can always count on that lake to bust some Woodies especially after LST when they are heading from roost to the acorns.
