.... well, no bucks but we did contribute to the extermination of hogs in TX! The first two were shot opening morning at a feeder by my uncle. The second two (brown boar) I shot Saturday evening. The boar was around 180-200 lbs. He was by himself and tried to run away but I popped him in the face from 178 yds. The sow came out with her piglets so I just shot her. Unfortunately, the one time I want to use my AR on some pigs, all I have is my .270 bolt action!! Oh well, we shot 5 the whole weekend. Enjoy!

Always fun to shoot some pigs but would rather not see'em.

I hate having to shoot pigs while deer hunting, it almost ruins my deer hunt. Still love to be outdoors though. Great going bud!

Yeah it was a disappointing weekend for deer hunting, but fortunately, both of these hogs came out late. The boar was still light enough to shoot a deer but the sow came out at dark. I was actually on the phone in the stand waiting to get picked up and I had to hang up on my friend to put my gun up and shoot.
And yes, we cleaned them all except the boar. He was nasty. Ate the backstraps last night. Fresh pork!
