When I first brought June home she used to sleep on my pillow. Her belly would be on top of my head with her legs on either side. Its hard not to spoil these pups. Post up some pics of the new pup.

Here's my new buddy, Cooper. He did good on the way home - didn't puke in the truck. Slept most of the way.

Cooper is adorable!!!! Good lookin' pup!
My little buddy is Roux. I fall asleep on the loveseat with her draped over me. But now she's got to be weighing at least 30 lbs or more. Soon she'll be too big for sleeping on top of me.

What a cutie. I told you DoubleB20's pups don't puke on car trips.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

He travels well. I stopped by my parents house in keller first before heading to dallas. He took both trips well.
He whined in his kennel of course but overall he did pretty well. slept from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 this morning. eating and drinking just fine.
i broke out the wing on a string for a little while but he just wanted to chase it and try to chew it. my boxer wasnt helping either.
Doubleb I keep asking around about puppies. There are two in particular that will be really pretty i believe.

No.....as much as I want to, I don't let him my lap or any others. Part of it is I have some small kids (youngest is 2) and a bit concerned about him thinking it is OK to sit on her! That said, I am still "puppy whooped" in many other regards. My wife has begun to question my affection for her vs Moose and I mentioned his willingness to slop through mud & cold water to make me happy by bringing me a duck; I then mentioned I can't get her to bring me a sandwhich from the kitchen. Yeah, that was stupid but at least Moose is happy to sleep near the couch with me.

Thank you for the kudos. I have been letting him fall asleep on my lap but then ibplace him in his kennel and lay next to him. That seems to be working. He is really smart retieving some frozen dead birds and toys.

Just don't let them near the bed. They'll try to hide under the covers.
