Just arrived at our cabin in Angelfire NM and having an adult beverage. Going to meet our guide at 5:00 pm and see what the plan is. Elk season starts tomorrow for us. So hopefully I will get to share good news in the next 5 days. Talk more later.

Just seen 21 elk. 2 bulls and the rest cows about 50 yards from the cabin. Looking promising.

We have literally seen 300-400 elk by driving and meeting with the outfitter and comIng home tonight. Seen a nice 160's mule deer by the cabin a mInute ago. Hoping for a good hunt.

Me and my buddy tagged out tonight. 3 minutes apart. He shot a 5x5 and me a 6x6. Will post pics later. We are beat arse tired after packing it off the mountain. Still had to leavs 6 quarters strung from the trees we have to get tomorrow.
