I've been hunting public land for a few years now and have yet to get a nice deer off of it. Just looking to see what you guys have pulled from public land... GIVE ME HOPE!

Those are nice... and no I don't think the road classifies. haha. Haven't done that kind of hunting since I was a kid. I hunt mainly in Lindale and I do have a big 10 point I'm after right now, but the area has been closed for over a week, it's freakin killing me!

Back years ago when I was hunting on public land, there was a guy at another camp that took a 140" 8pt. There was a local guy that came down that was pissed cause he had seen that deer on several occasions and was wanting to shoot that deer. The place we were hunting was out by Carthidge in Panola County on the river.

fort hood has some huge bucks. i know some of the guides out there and some are close to 160, but most are around 110 120.
