I'm building a dog house for my black lab and was curious what yall think are good interior dimensions for a 80-90lb lab.

Man, sometimes I'd rather sleep in there. So on second though, just buy a portable building that you can put a pet and a pot belly stove in...

Don't make it too big, that makes it hard for the house to retain enough heat in cold weather.

Here's a formula:

Depth = dog's length + 12"
Width = dog's length + 18"
Height = dog's height + 3" (low side), height + 9" (high side)
