Something like that happened to me this evening, i was sitting in a buddy of mines stand...he doesnt bow hunt.....and a buck walked out and i couldnt get a shot because of tree limbs. He started walking right under me and when he came out the other side i was gonna stop him for my shot, but he looked up and saw me and took off.

I went down for the week on tues. Got in the pop up wed morning, adjusted my chair and windows, pulled back to check my clearance, went to let down and BLAMO my string popped off the cams and snapped my arrow in half.

Made for a long week of watching deer. I took my aggresion out on the hogs with my rifle.

G'luck this morning. I'm in a stand in Glasscock Co this morning. Not after deer though, got the mod7 223 and lookin for yotes bobs and maybe some pigs. Lookin forward to maybe seein some of the great bucks that are on this ranch. I can't deer hunt at this ranch till late rifle season, but they sure do have a yote problem. Already taken a few from this spot so I'm back again. DoubleDrop14 is in a bow blind on the other end of the ranch after 1 of 2 big cull 8's (his ranch). I hope he finally bloodies an arrow.

Right there with you. Wind feels nice in this 1000 degree heat.

Good luck to us both and may San Saba be fruitful this evening. Would rather be too busy cleaning a deer to head to pepperbellys again.

That is no joke. I would rather my wife cook fajitas tonight than me! I wish Bobby was open this weekend. I could go for a pork plate.

Roger that my friend. Buddy's wife is supposed to be sparking up the grill as we speak. And it's deer 30. Come on in fellas. I'm ready for beer 30 and a Texas win following your demise. Or ladies of course as my bow doesn't want to be sexist.
