Drove out to a friends house who lives just outside Gatesville late yesterday evening. Went by a little 5 acre field where the oats were just starting to come up and there was a medium sized buck running the heck out of a doe. It won't be long now.

Silver spurs and gold tequila
keep me hanging on.
Pretty girls and old cantinas
give me shelter from the storm.

I saw a nice buck chasing a doe up in the Panhandle this past weekend.
