I understand that everyone has a difference of opinions when it comes to hunting, management, method, areas, styles, etc and there are certain topics that people feel more strongly about than others, like HF or AR's.

Personally, I think that some of the topics are interesting and I enjoy seeing the other side of things. I don't necessarily think that just because someone thinks that something is not fair or shouldn't be allowed, means that hunters are turning against each other and just fueling the fire for the "anti's."

I feel that I have actually learned alot from reading some of the post and some of the arguments have even strengthened my resolve on a stance that I already had.

So, while I absolutely don't agree with people that ridicule a hunter for an animal that he was proud enough to post on this forum for the rest of us to enjoy, I still think there is a place for everyone to express their concerns, dislikes, or thoughts regarding hunting related activities even if they go against the normal flow of thought for hunters and even if currently they are considered a legal means of harvest or method or whatever.

It also provides a great platform for sarcasm, ridicule, and banter...if we all agreed and got along perfectly, it would be boring.

I USED to be against crossbow hunters, but after reading many posts on here, I'm now learning to accept that they too are a part of our sport and we should accept them as such. some people like a friend of mine who was blown up in Iraq in 2004 has no choice but to hunt with one so why should other people with slightly less diasbilities not be able to hunt them. I am grateful for all those that have helped me change my mind on this subject, and appologize to those I may have offended in the past with ignorand ranting posts about them!!

Careful LandPirate...putting such inflamatory comments like that might bring in "BIGBUBBA" .... oh never mind...no one will be seeing him for a while...what a waste case.
