check out elusive wildlife technology. They have alot of options from feeder mounted lights to scope mounteds lights. I have their xlr 250 scope mounted light in green and can see about 200 yds pretty well. http://elusivewildlife.com/index.php?section=1

hmm, mount it to a tree? Why not mount the light to your scope or feeder motor instead?

I added a feeder light to the mix awhile back. Another worth while gadget if ya ask me.

I use blue lights on my feeder. Made the setup myself and dont spook the hogs either. Killed one the first nite they were out working. I can see perfectly at 100 yards thru the scope.

Greetings, Feeder lights light up the area around the feeder ONLY. A gun mounted light lets you scan the area, not just at the feeder. I have a pair of green LED lights, one mounted on the gun with a pressure switch on the fore grip and one in my hand. That way, I can scan the area with the hand held one, then switch to the gun mounted one when ready to shoot. It's much easier to swing the hand held around than the entire rifle. I can easily see 100 yards with the LED lights. If the situation dictates, I also have a ND3 SubZero which illuminates much further than I want to shoot at night.

I have green leds that hang on the bottom of the feeder and run off a 6 volt battery. With binoculars I see pretty good, good enuf to shoot with a scope. Feeder is 75 yds off.
