Lost my hound the first of this year. Had him 13 years. It about killed me when he died. Sucks when you lose a good one.

I had a dog that coulda been his twin, bought him from a buddy of mine thatwas gonna use him for coons but never started him, I bothered em about that dog for over 6mths b4 they finally sold him to me, best damn hog dog I've ever had the pleasure of hunting behind.........lost him to repeated strikes from a cotton mouth, he bayed a hog in a creek bottom and apparently stood over the snake while baying, got bit 7 times on his left side......man I miss ol' amos.......seems like the best ones always get taken way before their time
