Last season there were thousands of geese that called the coastal prairie lands of South Texas home. The majority of the land that we hunt is planted in wheat, corn and peas. We have over 2,000 acres of crops that will be prime areas for goose hunting this winter. This is the first season we will be doing guided goose hunting in South Texas, I am expecting great shoots and it surely will not be our last season to offer these hunts. These hunts will take place in Kleberg and Nueces counties. Although this area of Texas is not know for large numbers of geese, we have them in our fields every year. Many people do not know how many geese winter in South Texas and would not believe it unless they saw it! I have references available and feel free to PM me if anyone has questions. I have fields outside of Bishop, Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Ricardo, and Riveria. Last season all of the fields were full of geese, with as much waste grain we have had from the past corn harvest there should be more geese in the fields this season.
