Got the buck on camera for the first time i thought he was the same buck a saw a month ago but the brow tine was different.

just need a little help aging and scoring. i'm thinking he might be 2.5 with a 15-17" inside spread.

What do yall think.

Funny thing is the guys went by on the 4 wheeler and him and 4 other deer show up a couple hours later and hang out for some time.

2.5 and maybe 15-16 inches wide at the most. score would be maybe 105 if that.

He is just heavy enough through the chest and has a slight gut. That makes him look more than 2-1/2, but not quite enough to be 4-1/2. I think he's just beyond the 13" minimum. He'll look older when he builds up his neck muscles. I agree with the 100" score.

The East Texas deer are sure looking healthy this season. And the few I have taken were definitley tasty.
Not much chance he will see 2012 in east Texas unless its next to the crackers at a new years eve party disguised as a summer sausage.
But then he is a legal buck and he does not have a lot to add to the gene pool anyway.
