Here is a link to rain gauges operated by the LRCA. The one closest to where I hunt is TOW9NE. It is in NW Burnet Cty about 4 miles east of the river. I do not know the exact locations of the others. http://www.lcra.org/water/conditions/rainfall.html

just got a report back from the ranch. our lake(which has been in steady decline since being full in 2005(approx. 55 acres ) was down to about 8 acres last tues.
it is now full again!
Praise god! Didn't think We'd see this again any time soon!

3" for today. Not bad. Puts us at 4.7 for the week. I will take it! It came down perfect for us too. Just gentle enough to not wash away the top soil because we didn't have any grass growing to hold it anymore. There was not enough to put anything in the ponds and the creekbed on the place is still dry. I guess that tells me we could still use a lot more if there is not even a puddle in the creek.
