Any Jackson county hunter's here? I hunt 1200 Acres north of Edna, and i havent seen much of anything on my trail camera's this year. The deer arent touching my corn. Especially these last 2 weeks. On a positive note, i havent seen any hogs on camera either banana.

Hunt Jackson county, Burnet County, and Menard County.

Most all of my life. Grew up hunting the pasture we leased for cattle. Had an uncle with a small piece I used to hunt while in highschool and college. Now hunt a small piece near Victoria county line since I got off my hill country lease last year.

To answer the feeder comment. This year was weird. We hardly saw temps in the 30’s during hunting season and never freezing (until now) I topped a couple of feeders off yesterday and even my wife noted how green the grass was in the pasture. Couple that with a decent acorn crop and the bucks just didn’t have to sit at the feeders this year. Both for does or food.
