Is there any sight more pleasing than the sight of your best friend headed back your way with bird in mouth?

I love watching my gundog retrieve birds!!!

Only thing for me that would be better is if that was a black dog and had a duck in his mouth instead. But I'm a fan of all gundogs and of watching anything with wings die. Nice pic and a dang fine looking dog.

Very nice. Maybe better if the dog was bringing one back through a 1 inch downpour of rain.

Having a dog that loves to please you by retrieving your birds makes the hunt and the experience 10x better.

Great photo. I like watching my dog run back will the birds better then I do watching the bird fall! I'm sure you feel the same.

Nope.

My signature used to say,"One of the best things in the world is to see your best friend retrieving a bird you shot with her tail wagging."
