Just got back from my moose hunt



He was 56 inches wide and I had to pack him out almost 2 miles!! I'll never shoot one that far away from the boat again!! Lol . It took me 9 years to draw this tag and I was holding out for a really wide one but couldn't pass this guy up the first day I had this bull come out at 75 yards and he was around 65 wide but didn't have many points so I passed on him

My dad owns a boat in Fairbanks and we try to go every year but this is a self guided hunt we go down the yukon river 400 miles or so just depending on the river we get drawn for that year
this was my 3 moose out of 4 trips here are the other 2 moose Ive gotten
This one was 2002
And this one was 2007
